Junior Board
The junior board plays a key role in fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that all our members have a voice. Their primary goals are to
- Facilitate friendship among the school-aged skaters by planning, organizing, and executing fun activities (skating related or not)
- Maintain open lines of communication with the club’s board of directors to facilitate execution of their ideas and activities
- Act as role models for younger skaters, exhibiting responsibility, compassion, dedication, and other positive character traits as opportunities present themselves
- Provide leadership opportunities for the middle-school- and high-school-aged members
- Gain experience in time management, organizational skills, and being an effective and active member of CFSC and the wider community
Junior board membership elections are held annually in October and are open to all skaters in middle school and high school. If you have any questions or are looking for more information about the junior board, please contact the Junior Board Liaison.
