U.S. Figure Skating recognizes achievements at key points in a skater’s progression, one of which is landing an Axel – the most difficult of the six jumps as it requires an additional ½ rotation. We are proud to recognize our skaters who are members of the Axel Club.
Learn to Skate USA and U.S. Figure Skating members who land their Axel are encouraged to apply to the Axel Club. Inductees with verified submissions receive an official Axel Club membership certificate, a recognition gift, a listing on the Axel Club Hall of Fame page on the LTS USA and U.S. Figure Skating websites, and the opportunity to be featured in Axel Club marketing materials.
You will need to provide a reference, usually a coach, who can confirm that the skater landed their axel.
