Many of our skaters enjoy participating in competitions and have performed exceptionally well – some have even become national medalists. We are proud of all our skaters who have earned medals at sectional and national competitions.

Morgan and Dave won the gold medal in bronze ice dance at both the 2018 and 2022 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships. For their win in 2022, they received the Dr. Richard “Dick” Stutzke Memorial Trophy, presented to the winners of this event. Their names have been added to the trophy, which is kept at the U.S. Figure Skating Museum in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

They competed in the pairs event at their first international competition in Nashville in October 2023, taking home bronze, and represented Team USA in pairs at the 2024 Winter World Masters Games in Lombardy, Italy, where they brought home a silver medal. Most recently they earned gold in pairs at the 2024 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships.

Dave Sweeney

Dave took the gold medal in men’s free skate at the 2023 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in Salt Lake City. He also won gold for dramatic entertainment at the 2021 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships, and together with his partner Morgan Perrine, he won bronze in ice dance at the U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in both 2018 and 2022.

Morgan earned the gold medal for light entertainment at the 2018 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in Hyannis, Massachusetts. She also won bronze in ice dance at the U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in both 2018 and 2022 with her partner Dave Sweeney.

Amanda Weekley

At the 2017 U.S. Adult Figure Skating Championships in Wake Forest, NC, Amanda Weekley (née McGowan) earned a silver medal for her bronze free skate program and a pewter medal for her showcase program.
