After registering for a test, you will likely not hear from the Test Chair until a few days to a week before the test date when they send out the test schedule. This information may be sent via entryeeze and shows only your skater’s warm-up and test time(s), or it may be sent directly from the club’s test chair and show the entire day’s schedule.
You should plan to be at the rink at least 30 minutes prior to your group’s warm-up time – 60 minutes is better as tests sometimes run early, and you don’t want to be running in at the last minute. You’ll also want to leave plenty of time for off-ice warm-up since the on-ice warm-up will only be about 5 minutes.
The skaters will be grouped by the test they are taking, generally in groups of 5-7 skaters. Skaters may be grouped with skaters testing one level higher or one level lower than their test, depending on how many skaters are testing at their level.
